Not just any teenager story- Ann, not Annie

Don’t you have lice to clean out of your curly rat’s nest? Ann thought, before grabbing her notebook.” – From the book.

We all have been in situations in our college or senior years where we just hated everything around. It was all depressing with crushes and household efforts and friends and life.

Same is the story here with Ann, I am sorry it’s Annie.

Annie hates the fact that everyone calls her Ann and not Annie (which is actually her name). She is bored being in her normal life. She is bored with everything that is happening in her life. So to make her life interesting, she vows that she will turn the tables by dating the hottest guy in school, Jacob Waters.

Detention has turned out to be her favorite place, where she spends most of her school time where she fantasizes about her crush. But when a chance encounter in an empty hallway changes everything, Ann finds all her dreams coming true and she is well on her way to living the perfect life she's always wanted. But appearances aren't always what they seem and Ann is going to have to face not just cold hard facts, but also her past.

The story has been narrated by her BFF Lisa, she is the main narrator of the story who tells the story of her BFF and her life struggle from her point of view. There are quite a few moments in the story where we feel connected with the story and it all takes us in a swing.

I have personally found the story very different and interesting for reading in fun times when you think that nothing is going well, this book is all you need.
